About This Role

Click Rain’s Senior Operations Manager plays a key role in our day-to-day operations. The person in this role manages the tools and systems we use to complete our work while documenting processes, overseeing capacity planning, and forecasting future work. This person interacts with key stakeholders across the agency to ensure projects are scheduled and completed in an efficient manner. They also gather operational metrics and interpret them to the team in a meaningful way.

Day-to-Day Expectations

  • Understand and assist in the management of Click Rain’s project management and forecasting tools

  • Understand our tool integrations and ensure they are working effectively

  • Understand our core processes, the tools that support them, and their role in capacity planning

  • Ensure our systems, tools and processes are properly documented and deployed throughout the agency

  • Prepare for and help facilitate key meetings related to operations and capacity planning

  • Schedule client projects and partnerships in the macro queue, guiding workflows to completion

  • Work with key team members on client timelines and available team capacity, adjusting projects as necessary

  • Manage internal team macro capacity, ensuring they are in line with our core value of Balance

  • Help support and manage freelance relationships, scheduling as needed to support timelines

  • Onboard new employees to operational processes and tools

  • Collaborate with Department Directors to move company and discipline-related initiatives forward

  • Cascade important operational and capacity messages to the Click Rain Leadership Team

  • Manage weekly operation metrics and reporting

  • Depending on past experience and strengths, additional duties may be assigned (new business, internal marketing, reporting, additional coordination, etc.)

Required Skills

  • A passion for problem solving

  • An aptitude for managing multiple timelines at once

  • A strong understanding of agency workflows for website projects and marketing campaigns

  • A great communicator in a variety of platforms and through written documentation

  • A technical mind that can adapt to a multitude of internal tools and platforms

  • The ability to provide and receive feedback in a manner consistent with our people-centered culture

  • Experience working in a team environment and marketing agency experience preferred
