About This Role

This role will serve as a creative lead as well as support multiple client teams, collaborating on creative direction and executing across relevant mediums and marketing channels. You’ll play a key role in shaping ideas and bringing them to life across digital touchpoints.

You will design websites with a strong understanding of UX best practices, while also producing email templates, simple animations, social media and banner ads, and supporting graphic production and photo editing.

Day-to-Day Expectations

  • Excellent communication with Director of Creative and other team members on an ongoing basis to receive feedback and ensure deadlines are being met

  • Guide & produce digital assets such as social media graphics, banner ads, email templates, web designs and more

  • Present and rationalize design work to clients and meaningfully contribute to client discussions

  • Lead and assist in execution of art direction on key design projects and production across various digital platforms

  • Adhere to brand guidelines while fostering out-of-the-box approaches to enhance and expand brand visual identity

  • Develop responsive website mockups and UI utilizing UX principles

  • Maintain high visual standards, and a strong attention to detail, client, audience, story, and context.

  • Initiate collaboration to manage workload and priorities to ensure timely delivery while maintaining excellence across design work.

  • Innovate and provide new ideas, recommendations, and best practices

  • Assist with campaign concepting and development of video storyboards

  • Lead/assist in campaign and creative strategies to address marketing and business objectives, while creating actionable plans and timelines

  • Assist with the development of accurate and realistic project estimates

  • Lead and initiate effective, cross-discipline strategy and design collaboration by working closely with cross-functional teams including copywriting, marketing, content, and web development.

  • Stay current with new innovations, industry, and social media trends.

Required Skills

  • Advanced ability to use Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar software

  • Proven experience creating original design work through campaign marketing assets and websites

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing

  • Advanced knowledge of usability best practices

  • Knowledge of on-page SEO strategies and how to implement into design

  • Knowledge of front-end development in order to communicate with developers

  • Proven and effective delegation abilities

  • Working knowledge of information architecture, user experience and usability best practices

  • Effective and timely communication with the team with ability to provide and receive constructive feedback

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills to overcome creative or technical challenges.

  • Experience with project management systems and workflows

  • Create simple web and video animations (GIFS, SVGs, Basic Video Ads)

  • Familiarity with digital, web and print execution and limitations

  • Experience with photo manipulation and image optimization

  • Proven experience using and understanding artificial intelligence in the design industry
